We met earlier, I'm Michael
I am a photographer and composite artist based in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia.
Six years ago I found myself wanting to capture more, more of my sons and loved ones, more of the world around me. To have those places and moments frozen in time to come back to long after the sun had set. Little known to me that it would mark the start of a new creative journey for me.
Looking through the lens gave me a whole new appreciation of the everyday around me. From the changing of light and colour as the sun travelled from one horizon to another, to the emotion captured in a fleeting, unguarded moment. Exploring the landscapes around me and finding beautiful scenes in places I had driven past previously without giving a second glance.
More recently, photography allowed me to dive back into creating art, something I had loved as a teenager. Composite art brought together my photos, other images, and allowed me to create new worlds that only previously existed within my imagination.
Whether you have a moment you want to capture or to see yourself in your own piece of imagination, it would be my pleasure to help you create this for you.

This channel is all about my personal journey as an artist, exploring my composite art and how I make it as well as showcasing some of the photoshop tools I create along the way.
Join me as I begin creating my first website, adding in a print store of my work and dipping my toes into the world of selling my digital photoshop tools. I am in no means an expert in any of this, just a regular artist wading through the crashing waves of building an online and social presence... and yes that also include this channel.
